Our Response to COVID-19


As the situation regarding COVID-19 evolves, the health and well-being of our staff and customers is our
top priority. We will continue to follow the advice of the relevant Government Departments to minimise
the spread of the virus.
At Adelaide Fuel, we have taken the following measures:-

  • Increased frequency of cleaning of our retail store
  • Providing our customers with clean and sanitised hand washing facilities where possibl
  • Suspended the use of reusable coffee cups
  • Sites with tables have moved to takeaway only
  • Ensuring our staff wash their hands regularly and use hand sanitizer after handling cash
    and customer interactions
  • Continually monitor, review and manage its response to the evolving COVID-19 situation
    on an ongoing basis
  • All staff are to observe personal hygiene guidelines – i.e. hand washing regularly, not
    touching their face, minimise physical contact (stay at least 1.5 metre apart from others)
    and practise good coughing and sneezing etiquette.

Our Team

Adelaide Fuel Distributors advice to our employees reflects the guidelines from the Australian
Department of Health, including the prohibiting attendance at with in the following situations: –

  • Returned from overseas:
    →14 day self-quarantine → no COVID-19 symptoms → Return to work
  • Been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19:
    →14 day self-quarantine → no COVID-19 symptoms → Return to work
  • Tested positive to COVID-19 → Officially isolated

Not permitted to return to work until tested negative to COVID-19 and a full medical
clearance


Our petrol stations remain open and our fuel logistics business will continue to operate
as essential services.
